Aside from the standard library, the update also includes Quantum Collection – a brand new iMaschine Expansion featuring a selection of sounds from the recently released Maschine 2 Library.Īs with previous versions of iMaschine, any track created in the app can be exported into Maschine 2 for further production. A useful swipe redo/undo function is a welcome addition for faster working, and also a metronome on/off switch have been added at the request of the iMaschine community. On the iPad, the modified interface allows two-handed operation - editing and performing functions are now on the same window as iMaschine’s 16 drum-pads, two-octave keyboard and the audio-recorder, meaning less switching between view modes. The update features a new user interface and an optimised layout for iPhone 5, iPad and iPad mini. The app, which can be used on iPhone or iPad, allows users to create music sketches with their iPad or iPhone using a selection of drums, synths, one-shots, and a built-in audio recorder. The update also includes a new set of factory samples, the ability to sample and edit tracks from your iTunes library, and a pair of XY pads for controlling effects.
As of today's 1.1 update, Native Instruments iMaschine, the beat sketchpad for iOS is now optimized for iPad, adapting to its larger screen layout.
